HONOLULU (September 15, 2015)—Alternate Energy Inc. (AEI) is now an Authorized Business Partner and Distributor for ChargePoint, the world’s largest and most open electric vehicle (EV) charging network. AEI offers ChargePoint installation for both homes and businesses; the renewable energy company will soon complete installation of nine ChargePoint stations at Kapolei Knolls.

HONOLULU (August 30, 2013)—Alternate Energy Inc. (AEI) is celebrating its 20 th year in business by giving back to the community. The solar PV company is the $25,000 presenting sponsor of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Honolulu Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraiser, to be held Saturday, September 7 th and Saturday, September 14 th at Aiea Bowl.

This year’s event, themed “Yo Ho Pirate Bowl,” is the 27 th annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake. It aims to raise $350,000 for the organization’s youth mentoring programs statewide.

Alternate Energy launches ‘Future Fund’ with $32,000 donation to Kaiser High School

HONOLULU (October 23, 2012)—Alternate Energy Inc. launch the Alternate Energy Future Fund this month with a $32,000 donation to Kaiser High School. The Future Fund is designed to help local public schools and students as they prepare for a brighter future for Hawaii.

The donation check was presented to head Coach Rich Miano at the Kaiser homecoming game on Oct. 11. The money will provide the high school gym with a brand new weight training facility outfitted with all new equipment.
