HONOLULU (February 21, 2017)—Alternate Energy Inc. (AEI) has promoted Ross Kutsunai to director of sales.
He manages a team of 20 project developers and liaisons with AEI’s engineering, design, operations and administrations departments on behalf of the renewable energy firm’s PV, home energy storage, HVAC, solar water heating and electric vehicle charging customers.
Kutsunai was formerly a project developer and has been with AEI since 2009. His previous experience includes 12 years in pharmaceutical sales and management.

HONOLULU (August 30, 2013)—Alternate Energy Inc. (AEI) is celebrating its 20 th year in business by giving back to the community. The solar PV company is the $25,000 presenting sponsor of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Honolulu Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraiser, to be held Saturday, September 7 th and Saturday, September 14 th at Aiea Bowl.
This year’s event, themed “Yo Ho Pirate Bowl,” is the 27 th annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake. It aims to raise $350,000 for the organization’s youth mentoring programs statewide.
HONOLULU (October 23, 2012)—Alternate Energy Inc. launch the Alternate Energy Future Fund this month with a $32,000 donation to Kaiser High School. The Future Fund is designed to help local public schools and students as they prepare for a brighter future for Hawaii.
The donation check was presented to head Coach Rich Miano at the Kaiser homecoming game on Oct. 11. The money will provide the high school gym with a brand new weight training facility outfitted with all new equipment.
